Naples Condo & High-Rise Remodeling
Condo remodeling combines personal design decisions with the practical limits of a shared building. 41 West’s portfolio includes condo remodels such as The Marbella. Begin by describing how you use the residence: seasonal stays, full-time living, entertaining or hosting guests. That conversation helps the team focus on the changes that matter rather than assuming that every room needs the same treatment.
Plan the rooms together
Kitchen layouts, baths, flooring, lighting and storage should be considered as a connected design. Before assuming that a fixture or wall can move, ask the team to review existing conditions and any building restrictions. A desired layout is a starting point for investigation, not confirmation that a structural or plumbing change is feasible.
Questions for your building manager
- What drawings, insurance documents and applications are required for alteration review?
- Are there seasonal work restrictions, daily work hours or noise limits?
- How are service elevators, loading areas and contractor access scheduled?
- What protections are required for corridors and other shared spaces?
- What rules apply to plumbing shutoffs, flooring assemblies and debris removal?
These are planning questions, not a statement of any particular association’s rules. Obtain the current written requirements for your building and coordinate them with the proposed scope and permitting needs.
Prepare for design and selections
Bring existing plans if available, photographs of the rooms, a list of what you want to retain and examples of finishes you like. Identify the decisions that affect other work early: cabinetry, appliances, plumbing fixtures and lighting. Our renovation guide describes how the preliminary plan and allowances lead into finalized selections and construction documents.
