Create Your Naples Home & Remodeling Wish List
An online planning companion to the 41 West resource library. Use these questions to prepare for a project-specific conversation; the original downloadable guide remains available below.
Describe what you need, not only dimensions
My Home Ideas asks homeowners to provide qualitative information: what they like, dislike and why. Instead of starting only with a room size, describe how the room should work. Explain when you gather, who uses the space and what feels inconvenient today. Examples help the team understand the problem behind a request.
Include every household perspective
The questionnaire encourages documenting different opinions rather than forcing agreement too early. Record everyone’s priorities, even when they seem to conflict. Consider future needs, regular guests and changes in how your household may use the home. Skip questions that do not apply rather than inventing answers.
Collect inspiration and project basics
Gather images of details, rooms or moods you enjoy and add a note explaining the attraction. The questionnaire also asks about project type, location, budget range and ideal schedule. Bring these as discussion points, not a finished design. A wish list helps establish priorities before the team works through practical solutions.
Put the guide to work
Before your Idea Session, make a short list of must-haves, preferences and open questions. Mark which decisions depend on professional review, existing conditions or an approval. Keep your inspiration and property information together so the team can distinguish a design preference from a requirement.
